Challenges & Strategy
One of the main challenges faced when managing this account was creating an effective donation campaign. Increasing donation conversions proved difficult as it required building trust, emotional connection, and a compelling call to action that resonated with the audience. Another significant hurdle was spending the full $10K Ad Grants budget effectively. From September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026, Central Church had successfully optimized its campaigns with a total spend of $127,027.57 while achieving a remarkable 13.88% click-through rate (CTR), which indicated strong engagement. Balancing engagement, awareness, and conversions while maximizing the marketing budget was crucial in overcoming these challenges.
To achieve Central Church’s marketing objectives and address these challenges, uluad implemented a structured ad strategy by creating a high number of ad groups tailored to each goal—Donate, Watch, Listen, and Learn More—ensuring targeted messaging and audience engagement. To improve spending efficiency and maximize conversions, uluad increased the daily budget for key campaigns to $329 while pausing underperforming keywords that consumed budget without driving conversions. Funds were reallocated toward high-performing areas to enhance results further. Additionally, search intent was refined by identifying irrelevant keywords and moving them to a negative keyword list to improve ad relevance while reducing wasted spend.
Strategy
In overcoming these challenges, we embraced a systematic and data-driven strategy. Through the diligent use of third-party keyword research tools, we methodically built a strong keyword portfolio that precisely captured user search intent. This approach not only helped us pinpoint market segments interested in media representation but also empowered the church to create engaging and personalized advertisements that truly connected with their target audience
